Symphonic BandMr. Garnreiter and Ms. Woo, Conductors
PERIOD 4 Mondays/Tuesdays 11:45am - 12:30pm Thursdays 10:45am - 12:10pm Fridays 12:05 - 12:45pm The JAMS Symphonic Band offers instruction in fundamental ensemble technique as well as individual musicianship skills. Emphasis is placed on key pedagogical techniques in woodwind, brass, and percussion performance practice. The Symphonic Band performs at the annual JAMS Fall and Spring Concerts. Through the generosity of the Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation, weekly coaching sessions (Dream Winds) are provided for all sections of the Symphonic Band to supplement the core curriculum.
