Mindfulness is an integral part of the JAMS learning community. It is the process of purposely bringing one's attention to experiences occurring in the present moment without judgment. The applications of Mindfulness target the calming and relaxation of students and educators to build compassion and empathy for others. An additional benefit to Mindfulness is the reduction of anxiety and stress.
