Weekly assignments will be posted in Google Classroom under the "Classwork" tab, organized by weeks and numbered in sequential order. After an assignment is completed, regardless of platform, students must click on the "Mark as done" button (or the assignment will automatically be labeled by Google Classroom as "Missing").
All instrumental music students will be given weekly (or semi-weekly) assignments using the MakeMusic interactive software program.
Student assignments (and assessments) will be performance-based, and may include the following items:
Rhythm exercises/clapping and counting
Scales
Solo excerpts from ensemble repertoire
Sight-reading
